In this podcast, Khumouyn Jabbarkhanov, instructor at NU’s School of Sciences and Humanities, interviews Martin Hairer, Austrian-British mathematician working in the field of stochastic analysis. He is a Professor of Mathematics at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne and at Imperal College London. In 2014 he was awarded the Fields Medal one of the highest honours a mathematician can achieve.

From July 21–25, 2025, Nazarbayev University in Astana proudly hosted the 15th International Congress of ISAAC (International Society for Analysis, its Applications and Computation). This marked the first time ISAAC was held in Central Asia, coinciding with the 15th anniversary of NU—a truly historic milestone.
